Chaplain Dale Amundsen brings an upbeat and respectful style to every life celebration.
The former head chaplain for a major sheriff's office, Dale has worked with cases including high profile, tragic circumstances, high emotion, line-of-duty, youthful, multi-fatality incidents and discreet situations. Dale has worked closely with law enforcement, fire and EMS, coroners and medical examiners throughout the state of Washington. He's highly recommended by several funeral homes in the Puget Sound region.
He's comfortable working with funeral directors, event planners, musicians, pipers and deejays, honor details, other clergy and eulogists (even the ones that require some direction). In addition to mortuaries, Dale works with cemeteries (including military), and non-traditional venues such as auditoriums, museums, parks, golf courses, lodges, ships, beaches and piers. "Out-of-the-box" occasions
Dale holds graduate degrees in ministry and is a certified celebrant. He has presided at over 4800 funerals, memorials, committals and life celebrations, personalizing each event without any feeling of a template service. He has the ability to relate with audiences and interact with hope, humor and honor.
Chaplain Dale routinely serves the Greater Puget Sound region, and travels from Seattle.
