I bring a background in research, writing, and strategic communication to my work at Funeralwise, where I have helped create educational content about funeral planning and end-of-life decisions since 2010.

With an English degree, an MBA, and years of experience in data analysis, marketing strategy, and consumer-focused writing, I specialize in turning complex information into clear, practical guidance.

Before joining Funeralwise, I worked in the engineering and construction industry as a sales database programmer and marketing strategy consultant. That experience taught me how to gather information carefully, analyze it thoughtfully, and present it in a way people can actually use. It also gave me extensive experience interviewing people from a wide range of backgrounds to better understand how they work, make decisions, and solve problems. In addition, I helped shape efficient processes and develop effective marketing campaigns that supported business goals.

My work is also informed by life experience. Like many people, I have helped family members navigate the difficult process of making final arrangements for loved ones, and I understand how emotional and overwhelming those decisions can be. I also know firsthand the value of making thoughtful estate and end-of-life arrangements in advance, so families are spared unnecessary confusion later.
