Is it proper to wear a name tag to a viewing? Example a person belonging to a Fraternal organisition wearing tag saying John Jones President or Mary Smith Treasurer.

Thank You,

Katherine

Hi Katherine-

Generally, you would not wear a name tag to a viewing. The exception would be if the family has asked you to wear the name tag, say if the deceased was a member of that organization, or if the organization itself was assisting in some official capacity at the viewing.
