Is it okay to put the name and addresses of the charities that we’d like to receive memorial gifts in the service program?

Yes, you can print the charity information in the service program, but put it at the end or on the back page of the program. You can also offer a brief statement as to why those charities were important to the person who passed.

Normally, this information (about which charities are preferred) is first provided in the death notice or obituary that gets published but I see no reason why you couldn’t also include it in the program.
