I am looking into a Mortuary Transportation Business and would like to know what type of permits are required for transporting a cadaver. From First call to Funeral home, etc.. All I have been told that there are local and state laws but cannot find any specific information on the topic. Thanks!

The best source of information for something like this to talk to someone with experience in removals and transportation, preferably in the state in which you are looking to operate.

However, I would recommend that you get this e-book from Amazon.com, “How to Start Your Own Mortuary Transportation Business.”

Local and national permit, along with sanitation and health certificate and maybe some other documentations depending on your business name registration regulation. For business itself, I guess you should need a unique brand name and one that could bring your trademark to good.
